React Presents Announces Partnership With Chicago-Based Jam Productions

CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess) LiveStyle’s Midwest festival producer, venue operator, and concert promotion company, React Presents announced that it had sealed the deal on a strategic partnership with independent Chicago concert promoter JAM Productions.

The deal will see React team up with JAM to bring emerging electronic, hip-hop, and R&B talent into Chicago-area venues operated by JAM, including The Riviera Theatre, The Vic, and Park West.

Additionally, React will continue to develop artists with other new venue partners including Sound-Bar, Studio Paris, Bottom Lounge, Chop Shop, Sleeping Village, amongst others.

Founded in 2008, React Presents, React Presents has developed into one of the leading concert promoters in the midwest and stages several major music fests such as Spring Awakening and Mamby On The Beach, as well as more than 600 events annually in the Chicago, Detroit and Milwaukee markets.

In 2018, React shook up its executive suite with the promotion of longtime Marketing Director Patrick Grumley and veteran Chicago Talent Buyer Matt Rucins into the roles of Co-General Managers.

React Presents was acquired by Robert Sillerman’s SFX Entertainment in 2014, as a part of his failed bid to roll up the electronic music sector. The promoter continued through the company’s reincarnation as LiveStyle, which is now overseen by former AEG boss Randy Phillips, and Charles Ciongoli, formerly of the Universal Music Group as Executive VP & CFO.

Gary Richards, the founder of Hard Events, who left Live Nation last year, has also joined LiveStyle as President of the company’s North America operations.
